When traveling via commercial airlines with the TVUPack, it is recommended that the pack be included as a carry-on item in order to avoid improper handling by airline baggage handling services. TVUPack is safe to carry on to any airplane and fits easily into overhead bins. Batteries under 160 watts can be taken into the cabin as well.
